The Shippensburg University lacrosse team could not slow down the attack of No. 22 Lock Haven on Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 21-7 decision to the Bald Eagles in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup from Charlotte Smith Field.
Shippensburg (7-9, 3-8 PSAC) got a pair of goals and an assist from senior
Allison Fugate, who achieved her 100th career point in the contest. Fugate has totaled 74 goals and 26 assists in 65 games as a Raider.

Madi Newman had a goal and an assist; she found the back of the net for the fifth straight game. Senior
Jordan Kengor added a goal – she has scored at least once in nine of the last 10 games.

Kyra Shank scored a goal for the sixth straight game, while freshman
Alana Cardaci added a goal and three draw controls off the bench. Freshman
Maddy Siejk recorded a goal – her sixth in the last three games.

Makenzie Magnotta paced the Raiders with three groundballs and two caused turnovers. Senior

Lock Haven (11-5, 7-4) got four goals from Katie Costanza and six points (three goals, three assists) from Ashley Gochenauer. Twelve different players found the back of the net in the victory for the playoff-bound Bald Eagles.
Shippensburg will host Senior Day against Slippery Rock at 1 p.m. Saturday from Robb Sports Complex. Before the game, the team will honor Carbonaro, Fugate,
T.J. Johnson, Kengor, Magnotta and
Kathleen Mirgon.
