The Shippensburg University women's tennis team opened its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division schedule Tuesday on a cold, damp afternoon at Kutztown, but the Golden Bears posted an 8-1 victory over the Raiders from the Keystone Courts.

Daisy Rundio was victorious at No. 3 singles, posting a 7-6, 6-3 victory over Alicia Pursell. Junior
Kaylin Gallagher won the second set in her match at No. 2 singles, but came up short, dropping a 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 decision to Yasmeen Malik.
