The Shippensburg University softball team dropped a pair of games Wednesday in a non-conference doubleheader at Shepherd, falling 5-0 in Game 1 and 10-2 (five innings) in Game 2 to the Rams on a sunny afternoon from the SU Softball Field.

Shippensburg (16-15) collected 11 hits on the day, with both RBIs coming off the bat of junior
Chloe Collins. She had a double, sacrifice fly and sacrifice bunt on the day, going 2-for-4 at the plate.

The Raiders used four pitchers on the day, with sophomores
Nicole Smith and
Taryn Wilson earning starts. Smith pitched four innings, striking out one, while Wilson worked in relief in Game 1 and started Game 2 – totaling three strikeouts in 3.2 innings. Freshman
