Sophomore Chris Craig was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon by the league office after another strong sprint performance.
 
At last week's Shippensburg University Track & Field Invitational, Craig blazed through the 100 meters in a new personal-best time of 10.58 seconds for a NCAA-provisional qualifying time. Craig now sits atop the PSAC performance list in both the 100 and 200 meters.
 
He also competed in the 4x100-meter relay at last Wednesday's meet, contributing to a time of 41.48 seconds.
 
Tuesday's award is the second time in the last three weeks that Craig has been recognized by the league.
