The Shippensburg men's basketball team established a 17-point halftime advantage on Tuesday night in Philadelphia and had four players post double figures as it snapped a two-game skid with an 80-67 victory over Chestnut Hill in a non-conference matchup from Sorgenti Arena.
Shippensburg (4-2) closed the first half on a 15-4 run to lead 37-20 at the intermission and led by as many as 19 points in the second half. SU shot 50 percent or better in each half to withstand a Chestnut Hill (1-5) squad that shot 61 percent from the field in the second half.

Dustin Sleva posted his fourth double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 6-of-12 from the field including 3-of-5 from three-point range.

Justin McCarthur led the Raiders with 18 points, making 4-of-8 from three-point range. McCarthur also had four assists and just one turnover in 30 minutes on the floor.

Clay Conner had 10 points and four assists, including two three-pointers. Freshman
Jake Biss erupted for a career-high 15 points off the bench in just 13 minutes of action, shooting 6-of-7 from the field to go along with three rebounds and an assist.
Junior
Antonio Kellem had nine points, while sophomore
John Castello had seven points and four rebounds. Junior
Manny Span totaled four points and a season-high eight rebounds.
Shippensburg returns to action at 3 p.m. Saturday when it hosts Gannon from Heiges Field House.
