The Shippensburg University field hockey team is holding a "Purple Out" for its Saturday game against Seton Hill, which will begin at 11 a.m. from Robb Sports Complex. Fans are encouraged to wear purple to the game in remembrance of Amanda Strous '11/'15M. 

Before the game, at 10:30 a.m., a special presentation will take place on the field featuring Amanda's parents.

Fans are encouraged to visit an information table that will be present at the entrance to the facility which contains more details regarding the day.

Additionally, purple t-shirts and purple bands will be on sale and available for purchase on Saturday. 

Shippensburg will be wearing purple socks for the game, thanks to a donation from Longstreth Sports. 

The game between Shippensburg and Seton Hill will be the official conference opener for both teams.
