SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — The Shippensburg University football team plays its final home game of the 2016 regular season on Saturday, hosting Kutztown for both Homecoming and Senior Day from SU Student Association Field at Seth Grove Stadium.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

About the Teams
• This pivotal Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup will go a long way in determining who will represent one side in the State Game. A Red Raider victory would put Shippensburg in control of its own destiny for the PSAC Eastern Division title with one game to play, while a Kutztown victory would clinch the PSAC Eastern Division Championship for the Golden Bears.
• The Red Raiders were picked second in the PSAC Eastern Division preseason poll and return 16 starters from last year's team, including the entire offensive line and the entire secondary.
• The Golden Bears were picked fourth in the PSAC Eastern Division preseason poll and also return 16 starters from last year's team – KU has exceeded its predicted ranking in each of the last two years.

Series History
• Shippensburg leads the overall series with Kutztown, 48-18-2. Kutztown won 51-27 last year in Week 10 to prevent Shippensburg from playing in the PSAC State Game. Despite that setback, SU has won 13 of the last 17 meetings overall.
• At Seth Grove Stadium, SU holds a 30-3 record over Kutztown – including a wild 37-32 game in 2014 that came down to the final play. KU's last win at Shippensburg came in 1995.
• The two teams first met in 1929 with the host, Shippensburg, winning 26-12.

Broadcast Information
• Live online video coverage of the game will be provided by Shippensburg University's student station (SUTV) and can be accessed online at the links posted above, along with an archive of the game.
• The game will also be shown on television locally on Comcast community access channel 21 and campus channel 82.
• Live audio coverage of the game will be provided by Shippensburg University's student radio station (WSYC) and can be accessed online via the link posted above and over terrestrial radio at 88.7 FM. WSYC-FM is also available on Tune-In Radio.

Last Week
• Shippensburg got 193 rushing yards from its two quarterbacks (Chase Yocum, Landon Archangelo) and junior Cole Chiappialle scored touchdowns three different ways (rushing, receiving, return) as the Red Raiders posted a convincing 43-9 triumph at Millersville. Shippensburg totaled a season-high 341 rushing yards, averaging 7.3 yards per carry. Chiappialle had 240 all-purpose yards.
• Kutztown quarterback Collin DiGalbo had five touchdowns, wide receiver Kellen Williams broke the school record for career receiving touchdowns, and Craig Reynolds became the youngest player in school history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season in the Golden Bears' 35-29 Homecoming victory over Lock Haven. DiGalbo accounted for all five of Kutztown's touchdowns – two passing and a season-high three rushing.

Success at Seth Grove
• The Red Raiders have gone 25-7 in home games at Seth Grove Stadium under Coach Maciejewski. SU has scored at least 17 points in 31-of-32 home games under Maciejewski, averaging more than 44 points per game since the start of 2011.
• SU is 24-2 at home under Mac when it scores 30+ points.

Shared Vision, Common Goals, Consistent Winner
• Coach Mac's mantra for the Red Raiders since his 2011 appointment as head coach has come to fruition. In his first six years, Maciejewski has coached the Red Raiders to six straight winning seasons. He's the only SU coach to ever start a Red Raider career with six straight winning seasons.
• Maciejewski's Red Raiders have broken, tied, or re-written 152 school records in five-plus years. Among SU's 19 records from 2015 included the Red Raiders leading NCAA Division II in turnover margin (+20) and committing just 10 giveaways.
