Shippensburg University senior Eric Bologa was named the 2015 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year on Wednesday afternoon by the league office to cap off a splendid season that included All-America honors in two events.
 
Bologa finished sixth in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles at the 2015 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, running a time of 52.21 seconds to mark the second straight year he has achieved All-America honors in the event. He also won the PSAC title in the event for the second straight year, running a school-record time of 52.01 seconds.
 
Additionally, Bologa served as the opening leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that also claimed All-America honors at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships. SU's relay placed sixth in a time of 3:10.74, an effort that is less than a full second off the all-time PSAC record set a year ago on which Bologa also ran as the opening leg.
 
Bologa completed a storied career at Shippensburg with 10 PSAC place-winning performances (15 when including relays) and three NCAA outdoor championships appearances.
