SHIP 2015 MGSHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — The Shippensburg University football team seeks its fifth consecutive victory on Saturday as it returns home to host Millersville on Halloween at SU Student Association Field at Seth Grove Stadium.
The Red Raiders, picked tied for third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll, have reversed course after losses in Week 3 and Week 4 with four straight wins.
The Marauders, picked seventh in the PSAC East preseason poll, have lost 37 consecutive games to teams other than Cheyney, with their only three wins since the 2012 season opener coming against the Wolves.

• The game will also be shown on television on Comcast community access channel 21 and campus channel 82.
• Live audio coverage of the game will be provided by Shippensburg University's student radio station (WSYC) and can be accessed online through the link above and over terrestrial radio at 88.7 FM.
Last Week• Shippensburg raced out to a 25-point lead in just nine minutes of play, forcing six turnovers en route to a lopsided 70-7 victory over the Cheyney Wolves at O'Shields-Stevenson Stadium. SU scored 41 points off those turnovers, as the six Red Raider takeaways are the most in a game since the 2005 season opener.
• Millersville held a lead late on Homecoming against Lock Haven, but the Bald Eagles caught a tipped pass for a touchdown with two seconds left and scored on a fumble during the last-ditch Marauder kickoff return effort as time expired. MU lost 36-28. Receiver Kevin Wiggins tied a school record with four touchdown receptions.
Series History: Red Raiders vs. Marauders• The Red Raiders lead the overall series 42-23-2. SU has won the last 11 meetings in the series and have not lost to the Marauders since 2000. The regional rivals have faced each other 19 times over the last 26 years but the first divisional entry in the series came in 2008.
• The two teams first met in 1916 with Shippensburg earning a 15-0 home victory. SU has out-scored Millersville 291-66 over the last six meetings between the two squads.
• Saturday's game is just the second meeting of the two teams at Shippensburg in the last five years. SU posted a 61-6 win in 2012 but had to survive the Marauders back in 2010, posting a 19-14 win during Rocky Rees' final season as head coach.
Consistent Winner• Saturday's win over Cheyney is the sixth of the year for the Red Raiders, guaranteeing a winning season. It is the fifth consecutive winning season for the Red Raiders under head coach Mark 'Mac' Maciejewski '92/'96M.
• This current stretch is the first time SU has had five straight winning seasons since 1974-78 under coaches Gene Epley (1974-75) and Joe Mark (1976-78). Maciejewski is the just the second coach in school history to begin his SU tenure with five straight winning seasons and the first since legendary SU Hall of Famer Ed Gulian did so from 1934-38.
Taking It Away• The Red Raiders have scored 85 points off turnovers in 2015. Shippensburg has 19 takeaways this season compared to just eight giveaways, resulting in a +11 turnover margin — the best mark in the PSAC.
• In 2014, SU forced just 15 turnovers and had a -4 turnover margin. Back in 2013, SU finished with a -12 turnover margin, committing 24 turnovers while forcing just 12 — a total that tied for a school-record low for takeaways in a season.
