The Shippensburg University football team hits the road looking for its fourth consecutive victory in a 1 p.m. matchup with fellow PSAC East member Cheyney at O'Shields-Stevenson Stadium.

The Red Raiders, picked tied for third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll, went 6-5 last season after winning three of their last four games. The winning season was head coach Mark Maciejewski's fourth in four years at the helm.

The Wolves, picked eighth in the PSAC East preseason poll, finished 0-11 in 2014. Cheyney has lost 18 consecutive games, dating back to the 2013 season.

• Cheyney could not dig itself out of an early 21-point hole in a 56-20 loss to Lock Haven. The 20 points scored by the Wolves were the most since a 22-point outing in the opening game of the season vs. Lincoln.
