CHEYNEY, Pa. -- The Shippensburg University women's basketball team extended its winning streak to six games Saturday by closing on a 10-2 run to erase a one-point deficit and ultimately outlast Cheyney, 65-59, in a tightly-contested conference tilt inside a warm and toasty Cope Hall.
Shippensburg (13-7, 9-5 PSAC) led by 10 points with 2:27 to play in the first half before Cheyney (3-16, 3-11) closed the opening frame on an 8-0 run, leaving the Raiders with just a 33-31 lead at halftime. The Lady Wolves scored the first three points of the second half to gain their first lead and later led by three points with 10:56 to play, going back-and-forth all game long with the Raiders.

Sophomore
