The Shippensburg University field hockey team defeated Southern Connecticut State on Sunday morning, 6-0, in its final game of the Dora Metrelis Classic from Jess Dow Field.

The Raiders (2-0) did not allow an opposing shot attempt for the second straight game as they out-shot Southern Connecticut 38-0 and held a 14-1 advantage in penalty corners. SU now has a 63-0 advantage in shots through its first two games of the 2014 season.
