SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University lacrosse team will once again be participating in the "Lax 4 Life" fundraiser and collect donations for adolescent suicide prevention at this Saturday's home game vs. Slippery Rock at 3 p.m. from Robb Sports Complex.

"Lax 4 Life" is a foundation that deals with adolescent and teen suicide prevention. Proceeds raised at the game will go to the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation, named in the honor of Allyson Green – the younger sister of West Chester University lacrosse goalkeeper and 2009 graduate Mary Beth Green.

Both schools will wear "Lax 4 Life" T-shirts in pregame warm-ups and have a collective photo taken to commemorate the occasion. Additionally, a collection will be taken to help raise money for this worthy cause.
