WOMEN
•   Double-doubles from sophomore
Stephanie Knauer (19 points, 13 rebounds) and freshman
Morgan Griffith (15 points, 10 boards) on Saturday afternoon helped propel SU to an 81-52 road win at Kutztown.
•   The Raiders remain in third-place in the PSAC East standings, and with a win against the Marauders and a West Chester loss at East Stroudsburg on Wednesday, SU would leap-frog the Golden Rams and earn the East No. 2 seed and a first-round bye for the conference playoffs. If WCU defeats ESU, the Raiders will be the No. 3 seed and host No. 6-seed Kutztown in the PSAC First Round next Sat., March 1.
•   Also on Saturday, PSAC East playoff-bound Millersville (currently the No. 5 seed) shot 51 percent from the field, including 6-for-11 from 3-point land, in a 75-62 home win over Lock Haven that knocked LHU out of PSAC Tournament contention.
•   On Monday afternoon, Griffith was named the PSAC East Freshman of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 16.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game last week.
•   In their first matchup this season on Jan. 25, SU was doomed by a poor second half compounded by a dominant Millersville run and let an early second-half seven-point lead slip away in a 72-61 road loss.
MEN
•   SU cut an early second-half 24-point deficit to as few as six points on Saturday afternoon when a three-pointer from sophomore
Joe Lococo with 2:12 left in regulation highlighted a furious late comeback before the Raiders eventually dropped an 87-80 decision at Kutztown.
•   The 80 points were the second-most SU has scored this season while its 55 second-half points marked its highest-scoring half of the season.
•   Also on Saturday, Millersville couldn't overcome 56 percent shooting from visiting Lock Haven in dropping its Senior Day home matchup with the Bald Eagles by a score of 85-72. Senior Brandon Brown shouldered the scoring load with a season-high 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting.
•   In their first matchup this season on Jan. 25, a pair of 20-point scoring performances by Lococo and freshman
Abe Massaley fell short for Shippensburg in an 88-71 loss at Millersville.
