SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University field hockey team scored a season-high eight goals on Saturday in a shutout of PSAC opponent Seton Hill on Senior Day from Robb Sports Complex.

Senior
Tori Ricker contributed two goals while freshman
Madison Scarr also scored twice and added two assists.

Shippensburg (14-3, 11-3 PSAC) opened up the scoring in the 16th minute when sophomore
Katelyn Grazan scored on a rebound off of her own shot.

Sophomores
Kendall Beck,
Cassie Rawa, and freshman
Emily Barnard each scored one goal apiece.
Â
The Raiders held an advantage over Seton Hill (0-16, 0-14) in shots, 33-4, and in penalty corners, 19-4.

Junior goalkeeper
Taylor Webster made her second start of the season and recorded two saves and her second shutout.

The eight goals were the most for SU since an 8-0 victory over Mercyhurst last season (also on Senior Day).

Before the game, Shippensburg honored its four seniors:
Kim Wallace,
Lucy Kauffman, Ricker and
Alysha Bohn.

The Raiders will host Slippery Rock Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the First Round of the PSAC Tournament.
