The Shippensburg University wrestling team will travel to Ashland University in Ohio this Sunday for competition in the Mid-Atlantic Duals.

The one-day event is a bracketed competition involving eight schools: No. 4 Saint Cloud State, No. 10 Indianapolis, No. 15 Ashland, No. 20 Gannon, No. 24 East Strroudsburg, Tiffin, Belmont Abbey and Shippensburg.

At a minimum, Shippensburg will face two nationally-ranked opponents. The Raiders will dual No. 10 Indianapolis at 10 a.m. before facing either No. 4 Saint Cloud State or No. 20 Gannon at 11:45 a.m. SU's only confirmed opponent is the Greyhounds, as the opponents in the other duals will be determined based on the results of the bracketed matchups.

On Thursday, the Super Region I Coaches' rankings for January were released. Gannon and ESU are No. 5 and No. 6 respectively, with Shippensburg slotting into the No. 9 spot. SU's individually-ranked wrestlers are senior Simon Rice [6th at 141], junior Luke Etter [6th at 165], freshman Evan Ramos [4th at 184] and freshman Jalal Paige [6th at 197].
