The Shippensburg University women's cross country team placed fifth on Saturday morning at Kutztown University's Division II Challenge, with freshman
Casey Norton pacing the Raiders with a 6K time of 23:07.
Norton placed 14th, while three Raiders finished consecutively in 21st through 23rd place. Freshman
Allison Marella crossed the finish line in 23:31, while junior
Patty Reis was one second behind. Freshman
Natalie Eastwood was one second behind Reis.

Caitlin Perry was SU's No. 5 runner, finishing in 23:46.
Shippensburg will return to competition in two weeks at the Dickinson Long/Short Invite.
