SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University tennis team was unable to overcome visiting West Chester on Tuesday afternoon, falling 9-0 to the Golden Rams in PSAC East competition from the Robb Sports Complex tennis courts.

In singles, the Raiders (1-8, 1-1 PSAC) earned one point each from freshman Brittnee Buckley (No. 2), senior Cassie Sidone (No. 4), senior Lisa Snader (No. 5) and junior Hannah Wolfe (No. 6).

Buckley and senior Julia Saintz also won a point in No. 1 doubles.

SU returns to action on Saturday with a 9 a.m. match at Bloomsburg and a 12:30 p.m. match vs. East Stroudsburg (at Bloomsburg).
