Tyhiem Perrin scored a career high for the third straight game on Wednesday night, pacing the Shippensburg University men's basketball team with 18 points as the Raiders took down Bloomsburg, 68-59, from Heiges Field House to complete the regular season sweep of the Huskies.
The Raiders (6-16, 4-14 PSAC) forced a season-high 23 turnovers and committed just 14, the second-fewest they've had in a conference game this season. Perrin – the reigning PSAC East Freshman of the Week – added four rebounds and shot 4-of-6 from three-point range and 6-of-8 overall, as all four of his three-pointers came in the first 13 minutes of the game.

Bloomsburg jumped out to a 15-4 lead eight minutes into the game before the Raiders began to take control with a 19-10 run that included three Perrin three-pointers – including two on back-to-back possessions – and cut SU's deficit to 25-23 at the 4:33 mark.
Down by five a minute-and-a-half later, Shippensburg scored eight consecutive points to take its first lead of the game at 31-28 before heading into halftime down one, 32-31. A jumper from freshman
Tony Ellis on SU's first possession of the second half put the Raiders ahead by one as Bloomsburg would fail to regain the lead the rest of the way.
Each time the Huskies tied the game or pulled to within one, the Raiders answered with a mini run to jump back out in front. With SU ahead by one with 5:40 remaining, the Raiders outscored Bloomsburg by a 12-4 margin the rest of the way and finished the game with their biggest lead of the night (nine points).
Shippensburg hosts East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. for its annual “Play 4 Kay” game.
