SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Despite a significant edge in scoring opportunities in Saturday afternoon's PSAC Championship Game, the top-ranked Shippensburg University field hockey team gave up a second-half penalty stroke goal to No. 2 Millersville that eventually dealt the Raiders their first loss of the season and crowned the Marauders conference champions from Robb Sports Complex.

The Marauders were awarded their penalty stroke just over 16 minutes into the second half as junior Rachel Dickinson went lower-left on SU senior goalkeeper
Carenna Neely, who made three saves on the day and suffered her first career loss in goal (27-1).
The Raiders had a three-shot sequence just over seven minutes into the game that included two Sotzin saves and an impressive defensive save off the stick of sophomore Megan Donlan.
