Four different players scored goals for the No. 1-ranked Shippensburg University field hockey team on Saturday afternoon in a 4-0 shutout at Seton Hill that finished off a perfect 17-0 regular season for just the third undefeated regular season in program history.
The Raiders (10-0 PSAC) are one of two teams in the country to finish the regular season undefeated (LIU Post) and will host the PSAC Tournament next weekend as the top overall seed.
SU will play in the conference semifinals on Friday against the winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal match between No. 4-seed Bloomsburg and No. 5-seed IUP.
The unblemished record marks the first perfect regular season since 2010 (20-0) and the third undefeated overall (11-0-2 in 1977).

Taylor Bender opened up the scoring just over a minute into the game off an assist from senior
Bre White, who would later score herself and add another assist on a goal off the stick of senior
Brittany Jett.

Lauren Taylor closed out the scoring for the Raiders, who held a 34-9 advantage in shots and a 16-5 margin in penalty corners.

Carenna Neely made a save in just over 47 minutes of action before sophomore
Taylor Webster played the final 22:48 in the cage and finished with four saves.
