SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – In a rematch of last season's PSAC Championship Game, Shippensburg hosts PSAC Western Division foe Indiana (Pa.) at 1 p.m. Saturday in each team's regular-season finale on Senior Day from SU Student Association Field at Seth Grove Stadium.

The Red Raiders are 7-3 overall and finished the season with a share of the PSAC Eastern Division title with a 6-1 East record – marking the third consecutive season the Raiders have been over .500 in divisional play.

The defending PSAC Champions, IUP is 8-2 overall and posted a 5-2 mark in the PSAC West. IUP was ranked as high as No. 7 this season before dropping back-to-back games to PSAC West champion Slippery Rock and Edinboro.

In a pregame ceremony, Shippensburg will honor 10 seniors playing in their final home game: Jason Brady, Avery Coleman, Mike Goode, Dainen Green, Kyle Karpinski, Tyriq Kershaw, Jake Metz, Drew Newcomer, Nate Schmidt and Zach Zulli.

SU entered 2013 as the preseason favorite in the PSAC Eastern Division for the first time in history after an 11-2 season in which it reached the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs. IUP received seven first-place votes and was chosen as the favorite in the PSAC Western Division Preseason Coaches Poll. IUP went 12-2 last season and reached the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Shippensburg returned 29 letter-winners from last season, including eight starters on defense, six on offense and its two kicking specialists. IUP returned 16 starters (eight on offense, seven on defense, one kicking specialist) from last season's team.

Game Background

• Shippensburg controlled both sides of the ball on Saturday afternoon as it cruised to a 42-0 road shutout of PSAC Eastern Division foe Cheyney from the Wolves's O'Shields-Stevenson Stadium.

• The Raider defense surrendered just 102 yards of total offense to Cheyney, the lowest yardage total SU has relinquished this year. The SU defense also recorded its first shutout of the season and the first since blanking Millersville 40-0 on the road in 2011.

• Senior quarterback Zach Zulli finished the day with 304 yards on 31-47 passing and four touchdowns while junior wide receiver Trevor Harman set a new single-season school record for receptions (93) and receiving touchdowns (20) with eight catches for 96 yards and three scores.

• Also on Saturday, IUP racked up 658 total yards (378 passing) in a 55-20 home win over Gannon.

• The 378 passing yards all came from the right arm of redshirt-senior quarterback Mike Box, who was 21-of-25 with four touchdowns and one interception. The yardage total was the most by an IUP quarterback since 2001, and on Sunday, Box was named the PSAC Western Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Series History: Red Raiders vs. IUP

• IUP leads the all-time series 45-17-4 and has won 21 consecutive meetings spanning the last 25 seasons. Shippensburg is 12-20-2 all-time at home against the Crimson Hawks. SU's last win at home against IUP was the last Raider victory in the series, a 24-23 win in 1988.

• In last year's PSAC State Game at IUP, SU's top-ranked offense in Division II could not solve the No. 1 D-II defense of the Crimson Hawks as IUP used a power-running attack and forced multiple turnovers to defeat the Red Raiders, 41-10.

Success at Seth Grove

• The Raiders have been dominant at home over the past three seasons, going 14-2 at Seth Grove Stadium since the start of the 2011 season.

• Included in that total was a school-record 12-game home winning streak that began with a win over East Stroudsburg on Nov. 5, 2011 and ended with a loss at home to West Chester three weeks ago.

• Over the last three seasons at home, the Red Raiders have out-scored opponents by a 760-393 margin – an average of 47.5-24.6 per game.

• Shippensburg won seven games last season playing at SU Student Association Field at Seth Grove Stadium — a program record and the school's first undefeated season at home since 1999.
