SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The No. 1-ranked Shippensburg University field hockey team hosts No. 2 Millersville on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in an undefeated battle of the nation's top two teams for the annual "Play Pink" game from Robb Sports Complex.

Saturday's PSAC contest will be held in support of breast cancer awareness and fans attending are encouraged to wear pink clothing. All donations raised during the game will be given to the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA).

The objective of the CVBCA is "to make the community aware of what is available in the area of breast education, mammography accessibility and support groups" and also "to offer quality education, public awareness and support systems for patients and their loved ones."

The Raiders (11-0, 4-0 PSAC) sit atop this week's Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll for the fourth consecutive week with 167 points, including 14 first-place votes. The Marauders (9-0, 4-0) are second with 150 points and three first-place votes. The teams are two of four remaining undefeated teams in Division II.

The last time the two teams met, No. 6 Millersville upset the No. 1-ranked and top-seeded Raiders, 1-0, in the PSAC Semifinals a year ago. The Raiders won both regular-season matchups in 2012, however, as the two teams have split the last four meetings.

Entering this week, both teams rank atop Division II in several team statistics. Millersville leads the country in goals against, giving up just four goals in eight games (0.5 per game). SU sits fourth in goals against average, having given up 1.16 per game. Both teams also rank among the top four in the country in goals per game, as Shippensburg ranks third (4.40) and Millersville fourth (3.75).

This is the second No. 1-vs.-No. 2 matchup SU has played in this season, as the previously second-ranked Raiders defeated then-No. 1 West Chester, 4-2, at home on September 10.
