Sarah Strybuc led all scorers with 25 points on Saturday night and freshman
Stephanie Knauer recorded her sixth double-double in seven games as the Shippensburg University women's basketball team took down Slippery Rock, 75-52, in the second of two weekend PSAC crossover games from Heiges Field House.
Strybuc shot 8-of-14 from the floor and 5-of-10 from three-point range and tied her career high with a game-high six assists to go along with three steals and three blocks. Knauer recorded her fourth 20-point double-double of the season and eighth overall with a 20-point, 10-rebound effort on 9-of-16 shooting.

Morgan Taylor contributed six points, five assists and a career-high four steals in 20 minutes off the bench.
The Raiders (8-4, 4-3 PSAC) fell behind early as Slippery Rock (2-9, 1-6) got ahead by as many as six points on multiple occasions. With The Rock ahead 26-22 with 4:41 left in the first half, the Raiders rattled off a 10-0 run – with eight points courtesy of Strybuc in a 58-second span – to take a 32-26 lead with 2:48 left before intermission.
Strybuc's fourth three-pointer of the half came with 15 seconds remaining and put the Raiders ahead by nine before a Rock three-pointer with two seconds on the clock cut SU's halftime lead to 37-31.
SRU cut its deficit to just one, down 43-42 six minutes into the second half. The Raiders then scored 11 points unanswered to claim a double-digit lead at 54-42 and refused to look back. After a Rock bucket ended the run, Shippensburg went on another 14-3 run to push the lead to 21 points, up 68-47, with 4:32 left in the game.
The Raiders will wrap up PSAC crossover play on the road next weekend with 5:30 p.m. games at Indiana (Pa.) on Friday and at California (Pa.) on Saturday.
