An SU turnover and a Slippery Rock layup made the score 64-57 before an Edgar dunk again brought the deficit to five with 50 seconds left. SRU missed the front end of back-to-back one-and-one free throw attempts but recovered and went 4-of-4 from the stripe in the final 17 seconds to cement the victory.
