Box Score

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Reggie Charles and junior Dylan Edgar scored in double figures on Saturday afternoon but the Shippensburg University men's basketball team was unable to overcome the hot shooting of defending PSAC Champion East Stroudsburg, falling 99-56 from the Warriors' Koehler Fieldhouse.

Charles scored a team-high 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line while Edgar shot 4-of-5 and sank five of his seven free throw attempts to finish with 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Redshirt-freshman Tyhiem Perrin scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting, his highest point total since scoring 12 in the second game of the season against Salem International.

The Raiders (4-13, 2-11 PSAC) won in Koehler last February in a close finish, but failed to gain any early momentum against the PSAC East-leading Warriors (15-2, 12-1). ESU shot 19-of-33 (58 percent) in the first half and finished the game hitting 12-of-17 (71 percent) from three-point range. Four Warriors scored in double figures, led by Whis Grant's 18 points.

Shippensburg returns to Heiges Field House on Wednesday evening for an 8 p.m. matchup with Millersville.
