The Shippensburg University men's and women's basketball teams welcome West Chester to Heiges Field House on Wedneday night for the first mid-week home doubleheader of the spring semester. The women will tip at 6 p.m. while the men will tip at approximately 8 p.m.

WOMEN:

• Last time out, junior Sarah Strybuc led all players with 22 points and freshman Stephanie Knauer posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds as SU easily dispatched Mansfield, 87-63, from Heiges Field House on Saturday afternoon.

• West Chester defeated Millersville, 94-78, at home on Saturday with a season-high scoring effort. The Golden Rams are tied with the Raiders in the fourth spot in the PSAC East with identical 6-5 conference records.

MEN:

• Last time out, SU completed a 2-0 week in conference action after pulling out a thriller against Mansfield at home on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Joe Lococo scored a game-high 20 points with none bigger than his final bucket -- a go-ahead jumper with 12 seconds left that lifted SU to a 79-76 victory.

• West Chester fell at home to Millersville on Saturday, 68-64, a loss that snapped a five-game PSAC winning streak to begin the 2013 calendar year (at Clarion and Lock Haven and at home against Mercyhurst, Gannon and Kutztown).
