The Shippensburg University men's and women's basketball teams continue PSAC East play on Saturday when they return home for a doubleheader against Mansfield from Heiges Field House. The women will tip at 1 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 3 p.m.

WOMEN:

• Last time out, SU suffered a 70-40 setback to PSAC East co-leader Bloomsburg on Wednesday night in the Raiders' divisional road opener from BU's Nelson Field House.

• Shippensburg won both games against Mansfield last season and currently holds an eight-game winning streak -- SU's longest such active winning streak against a PSAC East foe (the Raiders last lost to Mansfield on Dec. 19, 2007).

MEN:

• Last time out, SU won its first conference game this season in its PSAC East road opener at Bloomsburg. The Raiders led by as many as 28 points in the second half en route to a 79-58 win that ended their losing streak.

• The Mountaineers had won three straight against the Raiders -- including a 77-73 win at Mansfield last January -- before Shippensburg rolled to a 90-78 victory in last season's rematch in February from Heiges Field House.
