BLOOMSBURG, Pa. — The Shippensburg University basketball teams will continue PSAC Eastern Division play on Wednesday night as they navigate through light snow up to Nelson Field House with matchups against the Huskies of Bloomsburg University.
The women's tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. while the men will start 20 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

WOMEN:
• SU has won five consecutive games at Nelson Field House. The team's last loss at the facility was in 2002.

Monae Baker enters tonight's game needing 23 points to reach 1,000 for her career between Shippensburg and UPJ.
• With consecutive wins over Cheyney, Kutztown and Mansfield, Shippensburg is riding a three-game winning streak and has strung together consecutive victories for the first time since opening the season with three wins.
• SU currently holds a two-game advantage over East Stroudsburg for the final playoff spot in the division.
• In their first matchup on Jan. 11, Bloomsburg defeated Shippensburg, 70-59, from Heiges Field House.
MEN:
• Shippensburg bounced back Saturday with a thorough 90-78 home defeat of Mansfield, avenging a heartbreaking road loss to the Mounties three works prior.
• In their first matchup on Jan. 11, the Huskies overcame a second-half 11-point road deficit to beat SU, 67-66. The Raiders trailed in that game for just 50 seconds.
• Shippensburg has been extremely accurate from the field this season in making nearly half its shots (588-of-1190), as SU leads the PSAC in field-goal percentage, shooting 49.4 percent overall. That number ranks 18th in Division II.
• The Raiders have shot 50 percent or better from the field in 13 of 22 games, including two in which the team shot 61 percent from the field. SU has shot less than 42 percent in a game just three times this season.
