SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's soccer team wrapped up its 2012 season on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 Senior Day loss to PSAC playoff-bound California (Pa.) from David See Field. The Raiders finish the season with a 5-8-2 record and a 2-5-1 mark in the PSAC.
The Vulcans (10-6-1, 4-3-1) scored just over four minutes into the game when Brad Colvin sent in a shot past Shippensburg senior goalkeeper
Andrew Foran, who finished with four saves.
A foul in the box in the 59th minute allowed Cal's Chris Moehler to double the Vulcans' lead with a penalty kick goal.

Oli Templeton led the Raiders with five shots while senior
Ben Weihbrecht recorded three. The game was physical all night, as the two teams combined for nine yellow cards and one red card.

Alex Supplee – as well as student assistant coach
Cody Ditzel during the Senior Day pre-game ceremony. The group of seniors combined for 24 wins over their careers in addition to winning the 2010 PSAC Championship.
