KUTZTOWN, Pa. — The Shippensburg University basketball teams will continue PSAC Eastern Division play on Wednesday night from Keystone Hall with matchups against the Golden Bears of Kutztown University. The women's tip is scheduled for 6 p.m. while the men will start 20 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

WOMEN: Shippensburg has alternated wins and losses in its last eight games. Its four wins over that span have come by an average margin of 16 points. Of Shippensburg's nine losses this season, five of them have been by five points or less. Kutztown and Shippensburg share one common non-conference opponent this season in Virginia State. The Golden Bears lost 75-52 to VSU at Shepherd in KU's second game of the season, while SU beat the Lady Trojans 55-48 at home on Nov. 29.
MEN: Shippensburg snapped its six-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon with a 82-75 home victory over Cheyney. The Raiders have lost four straight road contests, with the last three against PSAC East opponents. Kutztown sits atop the PSAC East standings having won nine games in a row, with eight coming by double digits. Shippensburg has been extremely accurate from the field in making nearly half its shots (535-of-1076), as SU leads the PSAC in field-goal percentage, shooting 49.7 percent overall. That number ranks 14th in D-II.
