MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's soccer team dropped its third one-goal game of the season on Tuesday afternoon from the Biemesderfer with a 1-0 loss to No. 20 Millersville. The Marauders scored a goal in the 38th minute on the only shot on goal in the contest.
Shippensburg (2-3, 1-2 PSAC) could only muster six shots and two corner kicks in the contest. Sophomore
Oli Templeton sent in a corner during the 90th minute but a shot by sophomore
Casey Bellamy went wide.
Millersville (4-0, 3-0 PSAC) tallied just nine shots but had the difference maker with a strike by Eric Pepper off an assist from Chris Davidson.
All three of Shippensburg's losses have been 1-0 decisions.
The Raiders return to action at 3 p.m. Saturday from David See Field in a conference match against Bloomsburg.
