SALISBURY, N.C. – Junior Emily Parkins threw a complete game and freshman Emily Estep slugged a two-run homer on Sunday as the Shippensburg University softball team capped off a successful weekend with a 7-1 victory over Davis & Elkins.

Shippensburg (7-2) is off to its best start since the 2005 season.

SU will compete March 5-11 in the Rebel Spring Games in Florida.
