KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore goalkeeper Shelbie Rackley made a career-high 13 saves for the Shippensburg University women's soccer team on Friday night but the Raiders dropped a heartbreaker after a penalty kick in the third minute of overtime gave No. 16 Kutztown a 1-0 victory.

Shippensburg (4-5-3, 2-4-2 PSAC) recorded four shots on goal in the contest, including two by senior Brittany Hibshman, but could not dent the twine. Golden Bear goalkeeper Casey Behrendt made four saves for the win.

Kutztown (9-2, 7-1 PSAC) had a 19-5 margin in shots but did not earn the victory until Carolynne Kahl scored on her penalty kick at 92:06.

Shippensburg returns to action at 2 p.m. tomorrow from Lock Haven with a matchup against Mansfield. The match was moved to Lock Haven earlier this week due to flooding and field conditions in Mansfield.
