SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's soccer team finished on the wrong end of a 1-0 decision for the fifth time this season after falling Tuesday evening at Clarion. All six of the Raiders' (5-6-3, 3-5-2 PSAC) losses this season have come by one goal.

Despite out-shooting the Golden Eagles (4-8-2, 2-7-2), 18-10, SU was unable to capitalize on its chances. Clarion scored the game's lone goal at the 28-minute mark of the first half when an Alyssa Liebdzinski shot got past Shippensburg sophomore goalkeeper Shelbie Rackley. Rackley finished the game with five saves.

Senior Emily Andrew led all players with four shots.

SU returns home on Saturday for a critical 1 p.m. clash with Edinboro.
