WOMEN's MATCHUP

Shippensburg has won the last two meetings between the two teams and three of the last four matchups with the Huskies, but this year's Husky squad is the best it has been in many seasons.

Last year's meeting at Nelson Field House featured a virtuoso performance by Lauren Beckley, who scored 43 points in becoming the PSAC's all-time leading scorer.

Overall, SU has won eight of its last nine games against the Huskies, last losing inside Nelson Field House during the 2002-03 season.

Shippensburg has been clutch this season from the charity stripe. SU is shooting 79.6 percent from the free-throw line, a mark that is the best in the PSAC and ranks No. 2 in Division II. SU also leads the league in total makes and attempts (293-of-368).

SU is 74-of-82 (90.2%) from the free-throw line in its last three games.

MEN's MATCHUP

SU has dropped matchups to Kutztown and Cheyney while Bloomsburg defeated Millersville but lost to Kutztown.

The Huskies won both meetings last season, but the Red Raiders won both meetings during the 2008-09 season. Both squads will be fighting hard to climb the standings in a tight PSAC Eastern Division race.

The Red Raiders are 109-of-258 (42.2%) from beyond the arc; second-best in the PSAC and one of just three teams to make at least 100 three-pointers thus far.

The Red Raiders are averaging 7.8 three-pointers per game, and have made at least six three-pointers in 12 of their 14 contests this season.
