Shippensburg (5-8, 1-0 PSAC East) entered the game ranked No. 3 in Division II for free-throw shooting and once again did not disappoint from the charity stripe. SU was fouled 30 times in the game and finished 31-of-37 (83.8 percent) from the free-throw line - its most makes in one game since going 33-of-39 in the 2008-09 season opener versus UDC.

SU got a three-pointer on the opening possession from sophomore guard Dana Wert and never trailed in the contest, leading by as many as 27 points in the second half. The Lady Raiders led by just nine points in the second half before starting its decisive run.

Wert had another spectacular game, scoring 17 points. She was 8-of-8 from the free-throw line and 3-of-4 from three-point range. Wert also finished with six rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Fellow freshman Raediah Lyles hustled for a career-high 10 points in the contest, finishing as SU's fourth player in double figures. Lyles hit three of her four shots she attempted Saturday and made all four of her free-throw attempts.

Cheyney (4-9, 0-1 PSAC East) struggled from the floor, shooting just 32 percent while committing 24 turnovers. Christalee Lynch led the Wolves with 16 points.
