SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University soccer teams will be hosting a “Red Card Cancer” event this Saturday at David See Field before the PSAC Eastern Division contests against Millersville. Donation buckets will be available at both games for contributions to the American Cancer Society.

The afternoon begins at 4 p.m. with the men's soccer match and concludes at 6:30 p.m. with the women's soccer match. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear red. Some giveaways will be provided, and in addition to collecting donations, red bracelets ($2) will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

Both matches are extremely important to the respective PSAC playoff races, but the men's match will be extremely vital. Millersville (No. 8 in Atlantic Region) and Shippensburg (No. 9 in Atlantic Region) are jockeying for position atop the league and the winner will be in prime position for a postseason berth.
