SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg tennis team came very close to its first PSAC Western Division victory of the season but was just short, dropping a 5-4 decision to visiting Indiana (Pa.). The decisive match came at No. 6 singles, where sophomore Monica Berardi won the opening set but dropped the final two.

Shippensburg (2-13, 0-5 PSAC West) dropped all three of its doubles matchups but got singles victories from junior Jackie Kramer, sophomore Jess Lodek, senior Robin Light and freshman Hannah Lolley. The Lady Raiders also came close at No. 2 doubles but dropped an 8-6 decision.
