SALEM, Va. - The Shippensburg University softball team had its four-game winning streak snapped on Friday from the West Virginia Wesleyan Tournament being held at the Frank Moyer Complex in Salem, Virginia, dropping games to Alderson-Broaddus and West Virginia State.
In the morning, Shippensburg dropped a 7-6 decision to the Battlers from A-B. The Lady Raiders held a lead in its contest against West Virginia State, the Bluejackets rallied and hit a walk-off home run to win the second game, 14-13.

Shippensburg (11-8) returns to action on Saturday with an 11 a.m. contest against Fairmont State and a 7 p.m. matchup with Wheeling Jesuit.
