ARNOLD, Md. - The Shippensburg University women's lacrosse team continued its impressive play with an 11-6 victory over Queens (N.C.) University on Sunday afternoon from the campus of Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland. The Lady Raiders limited the Royals to just four goals over the first 55 minutes of play.
Shippensburg (3-2) received stellar offensive performances from junior
Gayle Kuntzmann and sophomore Rachel Murray, who each netted hat tricks for the Lady Raiders. Senior
Beth Long had one goal and two assists, while freshman
Meghan Kearney earned another victory between the nets while making seven saves.
