Shippensburg University Basketball To Continue Its Three-Game Homestand Against Mansfield

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -
The Shippensburg University basketball teams will continue a three-game homestand on Saturday afternoon from Heiges Field House against Mansfield as the teams begin the wrap-around through the conference schedule. The women's game begins at 1 p.m. while the men's game is set for 3 p.m.

Both games will be broadcast on the radio by Shippensburg University student station WSYC-FM (88.7) while being available for audio web-stream here. Additionally, the game will be televised by Shippensburg University Television (SUTV) and be available for video web-stream here.

WOMEN: Shippensburg (10-10, 4-3 PSAC East) is currently in fifth place in the Eastern Division standings but needs just one win to get back into the playoff picture. Meanwhile, Mansfield (5-15, 1-6 PSAC East) just picked up its first conference victory of the season with a 52-46 on Wednesday night against Bloomsburg.

MEN: Shippensburg (10-10, 2-5 PSAC East) dropped a 70-58 home decision to second-place West Chester on Wednesday night and is in the midst of a three-game homestand. The Raiders are currently sixth in the PSAC Eastern Division, three games out of a playoff spot. Mansfield (12-7, 5-2 PSAC East) is currently holding the final playoff spot in the division and has won four consecutive conference games.
