KUTZTOWN, Pa. -
Red-shirt junior center Derrick Graff recorded a team season-high of 26 points with an impressive performance for the Shippensburg men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon from Keystone Hall but the Raiders dropped a 103-75 decision to division-leading Kutztown.

Shippensburg (12-13, 4-8 PSAC East) allowed 48 points in the first half and fell behind by 14 points at intermission. The hosts raced out to a 23-point lead early in the second half that the Red Raiders cut to 12, but the Golden Bear transition game was too much for Shippensburg to handle.

Graff's stellar effort also included nine rebounds in 31 minutes. Red-shirt freshman guard Lamar Drayton hit four three-pointers off the bench and totaled 14 points, while graduate guard Ryan Kraft had 11 points and four assists. He is just 33 points short of 1,000 for his career with two games remaining in the regular season.

Kutztown (22-3, 11-1 PSAC East), who squeaked out a one-point nailbiter in the previous meeting on January 24 from Heiges Field House, became the first opponent to total triple digits against the Raiders since November of 2000 when Bloomsburg had a 107-66 victory over Shippensburg.

Andre Woodlin led the Golden Bears with 27 points, while Stephen Dennis totaled 23 points, nine assists and three steals. Dave Ben, Kutztown's all-time leading scorer, added 20 points. The five starters totaled 98 of Kutztown's 103 points in the contest.

Another decisive factor in the game was at the charity stripe, where Kutztown successfully converted 23-of-27 attempts. The Golden Bears also committed just six turnovers and did not have any player commit more than three fouls.

The Raiders will return to action on Wednesday night with their final road game of the regular season from West Chester. Tip-off from Hollinger Field House is set for 8 p.m.
