Shippensburg Basketball to Host PSAC Eastern Division Matchups On Saturday With Kutztown

Both games are scheduled to be broadcast on SUTV and WSYC-FM

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University basketball teams return to Heiges Field House on Saturday for crucial PSAC Eastern Division matchups. The women's game is set to tip at 1 p.m. while the men are scheduled for 3 p.m.

Both games will be broadcast on SUTV (Comcast Channel 21, or channel 75 on campus) and WSYC-FM (88.7) while being available for audio web-stream here. Live stats will be provided for both games and are available at the above links.

Women's Matchup: Shippensburg (8-8, 2-1 PSAC East) struggled in a Wednesday loss to Millersville but has won two of its last three in the conference and can vault to 3-1 in the Eastern Division with a victory. Kutztown (13-3, 3-0 PSAC East) has won three straight games to open conference play but have done so by a combined total of 11 points.  

Men's Matchup: Shippensburg (9-7, 1-2 PSAC East) snapped a four-game losing streak on Wednesday night by making its most field goals in a game this season (29) in an 80-67 victory at Millersville. Kutztown (13-3, 2-1 PSAC East), the No. 1-ranked team in the preseason PSAC Eastern Division Coaches Poll, has won two-in-a-row and easily dispatched Mansfield on Wednesday night, 85-69.
