SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The forecast of rain in the Cumberland Valley on Friday has forced the Shippensburg University baseball and softball teams to move their home doubleheaders scheduled for tomorrow to later in the weekend.

Friday's baseball doubleheader with Slippery Rock has been moved back one day to Saturday afternoon at Fairchild Field beginning at 1:00 p.m. As a result, the Red Raiders road doubleheader, originally scheduled for The Rock's Jack Critchfield Park, has been moved to Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The softball doubleheader scheduled for Friday at Robb Field against East Stroudsburg has also been moved to Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Meanwhile, the Lady Raiders' home doubleheader scheduled for Saturday with Millersville is still set for 1:00 p.m.

In addition to the baseball and softball doubleheaders scheduled for Saturday, the Shippensburg women's lacrosse team will be in action at Robb Sports Complex against No. 4-ranked West Chester which also begins at 1:00 p.m.
