BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Senior Jake Wilson and red-shirt freshman Joey Anceravage each posted stellar performances on Saturday to highlight a solid team performance for the Shippensburg University wrestling program at the BU Brute Open from the Binghamton University Events Center.

Wilson rebounded on Saturday with a sensational effort to take fourth place at 165 pounds, besting a small armada of other wrestlers. His conquest of Division I wrestlers began with an 11-5 victory over Harvard's Mike Sadler before earning a 3-2 decision over Michael Alvarez of Princeton.

After a hard-fought 10-7 loss to Army's James Rafferty, Anceravage raced through the consolation brackets at 149 pounds. He began with a 16-1 technical fall in 3:00 over Western NE's Kevin Orchard and then defeated Derek Schreiner, an unattached Cornell wrestler by a 9-0 major decision.

Barach in 1:01 for his fourth victory of the day before falling 5-3 to Kellen Bradley of Rutgers. Anceravage finished the day with two pins, a technical fall and a major decision.
