SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg women's cross country freshman Neely Spence has been featured in a front-page column on trackshark.com along with her father, head cross country coach Steve Spence.

Spence has blossomed as an elite mid-distance runner for the Shippensburg women's cross country team, which is ranked No. 6 in Division II. Her second-place finish at the 35th Brooks Paul Short Run on October 3 was the fastest time for a Division II athlete in the history of the prestigious event.
