SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University baseball team went 4-2 last week and, for the third straight week, remains atop the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Poll while maintaining national rankings.
Shippensburg (16-5) is now ranked No. 14 in the Baseball News (ABCA) poll, No. 13 in the D2BaseballNews.com poll and No. 18 in the CollegeBaseballLineup.com poll. The NCBWA Division II poll is released Tuesday.
SU will travel to Kutztown on Friday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader before playing the Golden Bears at 1 p.m. Saturday inside Metro Bank Park, home of the Harrisburg Senators.
