PSAC Release
Megan Lundy was named the 2013 PSAC Women's Indoor Freshman of the Year on Monday morning by the league office after winning an individual conference championship in the 400 meters and running at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the distance medley relay.
Lundy won the 400 meters at her debut PSAC indoor championships meet with an impressive time of 57.38 seconds that narrowly missed qualifying her as an individual at the NCAA championships.
She also anchored the 4x400-meter relay that placed second in 3:56.57 and ran 11th in the 200 meters.
At the Armory Invitational in February, Lundy ran the anchor leg of a 4x200-meter relay squad that broke the school record in 1:43.78. She still earned the right to run at nationals, only as a part of the DMR.
