SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University basketball teams will be holding their annual alumni games this Saturday, February 20 surrounding the PSAC Eastern Division doubleheader with Kutztown.

The women's alumni game will be held at 10 a.m. The Lady Raiders will face Kutztown at 1 p.m., with the Red Raiders to follow at 3 p.m. The men's alumni game will be held after the completion of the doubleheader.

Both teams will be holding a reception for alumni and their family members at Knute's Pub & Grill. Knute's is located at 15 West King Street in Shippensburg. The women's reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. while the men's gathering will arrive after the completion of the alumni game.

Also on Saturday, the Shippensburg University Athletics Department and the women's basketball team will be coordinating its annual Pink Zone event in conjunction with the national initiative by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).

All fans wearing pink receive admission for just $1 and any students attending the game are also encouraged to dress in pink. Tau Kappa, Shippensburg University's women's athletic fraternity, will be selling ribbon cards for $1 donations to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. The members of Tau Kappa will also form a human ribbon at halftime and present breast cancer facts to the public while also tossing out T-shirts.
